Our Story

Annai Aadhuragam Hospice is a testament to the power of a dream and the strength of a community that supports it. Our story begins 15 years ago, when Dr. Thiyagarajan had a vision to create a hospice for terminally ill patients. With a deep commitment to providing compassionate care to those in need, Dr. Thiyagarajan began this journey in a small rented space, offering care and support to those who needed it most.

Over the years, Annai Aadhuragam Hospice grew in size and reputation, with patients and families traveling from far and wide to receive our care. However, our small rented space was no longer sufficient to meet the growing demand for our services. Dr. Thiyagarajan and his team dreamed of a full-fledged hospice that could provide even more comprehensive care to those in need.

With the support of a lot of good hearts, who provided their support in terms of money, volunteering, and time, our dream finally became a reality 5 years ago. We moved into a beautiful new space, purpose-built to provide the best possible care for our patients. 

This new hospice is a symbol of peace and love, a place where patients can find comfort and solace during the most difficult time of their lives.

Today, Dr. Preethi leads our team of nurses and care workers, providing the highest quality care to our patients. We are proud to be a part of a community that supports our mission, whether it be through volunteering their time or making a donation. Together, we are able to provide a safe haven for terminally ill cancer patients, where they can spend their last days with dignity and compassion.
